Jenny King is a Urogynaecologist and Director of the Pelvic Floor Unit at Westmead Hospital. Jenny is a great supporter of all CFA activities and sits on the Management Committee of the CFA NSW.
Dr John Short, NZ - Vice Chair
John's expertise covers a wide range of women's health issues. He has developed particular interests in Urogynaecology, the management of urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse, and laparoscopic surgery, including the management of endometriosis, the management of complicated prolapse, and laparoscopic hysterectomy. He is also trained in urodynamics and ultrasound, including advanced imaging of the pelvic floor.
Dr Marcus Carey, VIC - Tresurer
Dr Marcus Carey is a Urogynaecologist working in both public and private practice in Melbourne. He is Head of Unit for Urogynaecology and Gynaecology 3 units at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. Dr Carey's private practice is in Frances Perry Private Hospital located in the Royal Women's Hospital, Parkville. He also consults at the Epworth Freemason's Hospital in East Melbourne.
Dr Christopher Barry, SA - Secretary
Qualified from Guy's Hospital in London and spent most of his training in Bristol in the South-West of England. Previously worked at the James Cook University in Queensland as Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Chris was senior Staff Specialist at TQEH. He undertook all aspects of general gynaecology but has a particular interest in Urogynaecology and pelvic floor dysfunction. Holds the position of Honorary visiting lecturer at the University of Adelaide,
Dr Alex Mowat, QLD - UGSA Database
She started her training in 2008 having recently completed a urogynacology subspecialisation, Dr Mowat has a passion for performing both laparascopic and open surgeries.
Dr Joseph Lee, NSW - General Member
Offers services in female pelvic floor medicine and reconstructive surgery, which includes urogynaecology and urodynamics testing for patients with pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, in addition to general gynaecology. He also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. His commitment to research is demonstrated through published peer reviewed papers and book chapters, invited presentations at national and international meetings, main investigators in several clinical trials and is an active committee member of the IUGA (International Urogynaecology Association).
